The Chinese New Year begins February 10th, and this years theme is the “Year of the Snake”. While the official celebration is a little under a month away, adidas is set to release a special addition of the D.Rose 3.5 model celebrating the Chinese New Year in a “Year of the Snake” colorway.
The shoe comes complete with a SPRINTWEB finished snakeskin pattern that is complimented with a metallic gold SPRINTFRAME build. The liner, toe, laces and outsole of the shoe feature symbolic turquoise coloring to resemble water. The shoe is rounded off with gold accents and flash hints of black and white throughout the shoe.
The shoe is set to release January 24th, 2013 for $160 at retail stores as well as online at the adidas store.
