4. The Bears trade back for extra picks
The Chicago Bears traded back once in this draft. They did so a few times in the last draft. The number nine position could be a prime spot for Poles to trade back from again. The Bears could still find a quality player in the teens-to-early 20s of this draft. The Bears could have a chance to switch back and still draft an offensive tackle like Wright or Jones.
The Bears could consider adding to the defensive line later in the first round. Defensive tackles Calijah Kancey from Pittsburgh and Adetomiwa Abedbawore from Northwestern should be available if the Bears trade back several spots. An extra pick for the second day could allow the Bears the luxury of taking a top center prospect.
