Quarterback Justin Fields likes separation. The Chicago Bears added a wide receiver who can get some with his blazing speed on Day 3 of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Bears drafted Tyler Scott with the fourth-round pick they received from the Philadelphia Eagles for trading defensive end Robert Quinn. Bears fans reacted to the move on social media.
The Bears traded Quinn to the Eagles last season as general manager Ryan Poles tried to rebuild the roster and move away from bloated contracts. The aging Quinn was able to join a championship contender last season. The Bears have not found a replacement for Quinn in free agency of this year’s draft. But they used the pick they got for him to add an All-AAC wide receiver who is a former junior Olympic sprinter.
