It was a late afternoon of firsts . Drew MacIntyre made his debut in net for the IceHogs and lead the team to a 2-1 victory over the Lake Erie Monsters. The other first was in the form of a first professional goal for Rockford’s Kyle Baun(F).
The IceHogs also paid tribute to Linesmen, Al Stensland and Peter Cichy during the game. They both have officiated at numerous IceHogs games since 1999. Tonight was their last game and they are both retiring.
