IceHogs fans braved the snow & ice covered roads last night to witness the IceHogs top the Manitoba Moose 4-2. The Hogs finally broke their 9 game losing streak. Hallelujah!
The Moose were the first to score half way into the first frame, followed by Rockford’s Tanner Kero answered back just under 4 minutes later. Then 1.5 minutes later, Luke Johnson added his goal to the IceHogs’ score. The 2nd period found both teams unable to add to the scorecard. Then the 3rd frame, both Nick Schmaltz and Mark McNeill scored for the IceHogs before the halfway mark and the Moose added one more goal.
