The Rockford IceHogs hosted the Adirondack Flames for the very first time at home last night. It was a game filled with glass rattling hard checks, a few scrums and a fight. The IceHogs came out on top, winning in a Shoot-Out 3-2.
Rockford’s Spencer Abbot(LW) was awarded the #1 Star of the Game for scoring 2 goals during regulation time and the Shoot-Out game winner. Stick tap to Hog’s Netminder Michael Leighton for his stellar play during OT & the Shoot-Out.
The IceHogs host the Flames again on Saturday March 21st at 7pm in Rockford.
