Chicago Blackhawks draft target: Anton Frondell
Anton Frondell🇸🇪 is incredible.

Frondell🇸🇪 is scoring 2.00ppg in Hockeyallsvenskan.
I haven’t seen a U18 prospect dominate pro hockey like this since Dahlin.#2025NHLDraft pic.twitter.com/kxn5RtwBIf

Outside of Martone and any miracle that Misa is around with the third pick, Frondell appears to be next in line among this group to become a Blackhawk. Similar to Martone, he plays true to his size despite being three inches shorter than everyone’s preferred choice for Chicago at number three, Frondell has a strong physical presence in his game. He also is a strong two-way forward, which the Blackhawks wouldn’t mind to have alongside Frank Nazar.
Frondell was nearly a point-per-game player with Sweden’s U18 Junior National team this past year, as he had eight goals and 10 assists in 19 games. He is an all around solid prospect who is a strong candidate to go third overall, it will come down to if the front office prefers a winger like Martone, or if they want a true center in Frondell.
