Angels 12, Cubs 0

Chicago — Jered Weaver (7-3) dominated the Cubs today tossing seven scoreless innings allowing 2 hits while striking out 11. Torii Hunter hit his second home run of the series and Bobby , who came into this series with a .352 lifetime average at Wrigley, added 4 hits as the Angels destroyed the Cubs at Wrigley Field this afternoon.

Ted Lilly (2-6) fresh off his near no-hitter Sunday was no where near perfect today allowing 8 runs (6 earned) in 5 1/3 innings. He allowed four runs in the first, which was all Los Angeles would need. The Cubs once again committed errors which led to four more unearned runs. The Cubs lead all of baseball with 44 on the year.

Been following Chicago sports for many years. I have ties to Rockford, Illinois however have since been displaced in North Carolina far from Illinois. I am still an avid fan despite the geographical complications in following my teams. I am known as the internet’s #1 Rex Grossman connoisseur
