Do you want to know the secret to victory? Want to know what it takes to be successful? Well, sometimes you have to fail in order to reach the top.

That’s the theme of Gatorade’s newest ad “Make Defeat Your Fuel.”

The new spot stars some of the biggest names in sports, including Chicago’s own Michael Jordan and Kyle Schwarber.

Check out the newest spot below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSLV3AjLiZk

As you see above, Jordan discusses being cut from the varsity team early in his high school career before going on to be successful at the University of North Carolin and then with the Chicago Bulls.

Then there’s Schwarber.

The Cubs left fielder takes the route of mentioning the Cubs historic World Series drought that came to an end in 2016. Schwarber made an incredible comeback from ligament damage in his knees to win it all with the Cubs.

All of the athletes have failure stories and all have succeeded. Make sure you follow along on social media using #MakeDefeatYourFuel to share your story.
